The Guillotine Academic All-State Wrestlers

Adam Fokken, Senior, 2001

Two-time Guillotine Academic All-State Wrestler, and 2001 MWCA Scholarship winner, Adam Fokken set his goal to be a state champ and achieved it, this his senior year, wrestling at 189 pounds. He's a three-time state entrant, going 2-2 as a 171 pound sophomore, then placing fourth as an 189 pound junior. Adam's varsity career record is 147-36 with an undefeated 38-0 season record for 2000-2001. Adam is the son of Mark and Lois Fokken and will be graduating from Eastview High School where Kurt Habeck is his wrestling coach. His cumulative GPA at this time is 3.87. Adam won five individual tournament championships this season and was named Outstanding Wrestler at two of those tournaments. Adam intends to attend a four year college and play football or wrestle.
